On my RS server, in Report Manager I have a few data sources in the
Data Sources Directory. When Creating a new report, even if I have
"over write data sources" turned off, It still propagates the data
source the FIRST time I deploy the report.
To fix this I go to the report in report manager and go to properties
and change the data source. Is there a way to avoid this? I dont want
to create a new data source EVERY Time and the nchange the report
properties and then delete the shared data source.
regards,
Stas K.This should only happen if that datasource does not exist. It only does not
deploy it if it finds a shared datasource of that name. Otherwise it does
deploy it.
