Krishnayou can install free barcode fonts onto your system and format your output to use these fonts...... the only problem here will be when you output your reports as PDFs as SSRS does not embed fonts into pdf files (not sure if this has been corrected now).

I've downloaded the font mentioned above but the scanner doesn't recognize the barcode.
It prints fine enough but the scanner doesn't read it. Does anyone have any ideas why this won't work for me?
Is there more to this than just setting the font on a field?

|||Found the answer to my own question. The stringmust begin and end with an asterisk.
Therefore,1234 must be formatted to*1234* then the scanner will read it.
Also, make sure the string contains only the characters your font will recognize. You may also have to replace spaces with anunderscore.
Usually, 36 point font size will create bars 1/2" tall. 18 point font will create 1/4" tall bar codes.
